Cullen grew up in Carlsbad, California, where he was a multi-sport athlete, excelling in football, basketball, and golf. Sharing the field, court and course with his younger brother, their years were filled with plenty of competitive banter. While golf was always a part of his life, Cullen balanced his time across all his sports, becoming a well-rounded athlete. It wasn’t until high school that he began dedicating himself more seriously to golf, setting his sights on earning a college scholarship.

Cullen has recorded an impressive 5 holes-in-one, in his early Junior career.
Earned 12 consecutive Jr Worlds entrances from the age of 7.

High School
At Carlsbad High School, Cullen honed his competitive edge, balancing academics and athletics with a CIF Championship his Sophomore year.
SDJGA Player of the year in the Championship division in 2015.
His dedication earned him a scholarship at Colorado State University, where he competed against top collegiate golfers and matured both on and off the course.
Qualified for US Jr Amateur twice.
Collegiate Success
Qualified for US Amateur twice in College.
Overcame a Labrum tear his Junior season to come back and have the lowest scoring average his Senior Fall Season at 71.
The Thailand Move
In April 2024, Cullen took a leap of faith, moving to Thailand to follow his dream of becoming a professional golfer. His hard work paid off as he secured his 2025 All Thailand Tour card—a major milestone in his career.
Also carding his lowest recordable 4 round total of -24 in the Thailand Q-School qualifier first stage, winning by 6 strokes.
